Frequently Asked Questions
Wedding planning and Day-of coordination?
Basic on-site vendor coordination is included. It is highly recommend that a day of coordinator or wedding planner be involved to take the stress out of the day. We are happy to work with your wedding planner, refer you to some wedding planners if you do not have one already, or can do this ourself for 15% of the additional services provided.
Would we need to provide our own liability insurance?
No, this is not necessary, we have our own liability insurance.
If we were to bring our own bartender and alcohol, are there any restrictions we should be aware of?
We require certified insured bartenders with off-premise license and are happy to help you secure your bartending service. Depending on your bar tending needs additional bartenders and time may be required.
If the ceremony is supposed to be outside and it rains, is there a back-up indoor space you use?
Yes the barn has an absolutely beautiful interior and ample space suitable for ceremonies, many couples have chosen to do this regardless of the weather.
Is there a curfew? How late could we play music?
Amplified music can go until 11 PM, guests need to leave by midnight.
Would we be able to use our own decorations for the barn?
You are more than welcome to use your own decorations if more elaborate ideas are in play we are also happy do discuss these on an individual basis.
Is the barn temperature controlled?
Not exactly, it is not insulated and we therefore hold events in the warmer months. The barn cupolas, doors, and windows are open most of the summer providing passive cooling. It is rarely, if ever, too hot in the barn. Occasionally when it is cool, we use propane patio heaters (at an additional charge).
Is there nearby lodging available for guests that you typically recommend?
Is there a shuttle service to bring people from their accommodations to the farm?
Yes. There are a number of local shuttle service providers we can recommend that provide pickup and drop-off services.
